The remodeled funeral chapel has flexible seating for up to 150 and a new sound system. It also includes flat-screen TVs for multimedia tributes. Our baby grand piano is available for those who wish to use it. A bistro-style reception room with high-top tables is perfect for intimate gatherings like a breakfast after a service or cake and coffee during a visitation. The larger community room has a catering kitchen and holds up to a dozen 12 round tables with chairs for a larger gathering, such as a barbecue dinner buffet or a memorial game night—and we are happy to arrange food and drinks. Cremation services

Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and the different memorial and burial choices. From a direct cremation without a service to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand the variations in this increasingly common decision. If you wish, cremated remains can be memorialized at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Rest Hills Memorial Park

Located on a beautiful, sloping landscape, Rest Hills Memorial Park makes for a dignified and peaceful final resting place. The 111-acre cemetery has 28 meticulously maintained gardens, peaceful lakes and many shady trees, including pines and oaks. Throughout the grounds, you'll find regal statues symbolizing the promise of life.

Wide range of burial options

Rest Hills Memorial Park provides a variety of burial and cremation options. Unlike many Little Rock cemeteries, we offer upright monuments in addition to flat markers for traditional burial. For families choosing cremation, we have mausoleum niches as well as cremation benches and boulders throughout the cemetery grounds. We also offer entombment in community mausoleums and private mausoleums.

Hilltop

Our newest cemetery development, aptly named Hilltop, is located in the middle of the cemetery atop a hill. This secluded, peaceful space offers private mausoleums and is among the more picturesque spots in our memorial park, with plenty of room for expansion in years to come.

The Rest Hills therapy dog

All of our team members at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Rest Hills Memorial Park provide families with comfort and support, but there is a member of our team who is especially gifted at making people feel at ease: Hazel. With 4 legs, a perpetually wagging tail and a big heart, Hazel is our certified therapy dog. Hazel joined Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in September 2016. A rescued shepherd/hound mix, she was trained by prison inmates through the Paws in Prison program. After completing the program, Hazel was adopted by our general manager and went through therapy dog training with Therapy Dogs International. See MoreSee Less

Founded by J. Harry Leggett Sr. and Frank and Paul Griffin in a 2-story apartment building on West Capitol Avenue in Little Rock, the Griffin Leggett funeral business began in 1936. A pioneering team, the men were the 1st in the Little Rock area to promote burial insurance and their funeral home business grew quickly to be the largest in Arkansas.
